Solearth Launch New Website and New Services

29 February 2012

Welcome to Solearth's new website which we’ve developed to celebrate the launch of 3 new architectural services and announce some recent project successes. What with all the doom and gloom around we are very lucky to be busy and working on such interesting projects as the God Pods at Glenstal Abbey and finalising contractors for the construction phase of Airfield Trust and Solas Bhride, our project for Saint Brigid beside the National Stud in Kildare town. We are very excited about these two particularly as they will both break ground in the next few weeks.

Continuing on the brighter side, there is great value to be had from builders and suppliers and the extreme volatility in insolvency among contractors seems to have troughed. There's never been a better time to build, and it all starts with design.

2011 was an interesting year for Solearth; Living Building and Slow Architecture kept us thinking about the wider role of architecture and construction and how to provide real value (experientially as well as financially) to our clients and building users and Solearth were invited to Vietnam for a series of lectures and consultancy engagements in the Autumn.

We anticipate 2012 being even more interesting and varied.
