Box Of Tricks Renovation, The Liberties

The project involves the spatial and ecological transformation of a Liberties end-of- terrace house from a standard two storey, two bed domicile to a three storey, three bedroom, spatially complex ‘box of tricks’, while respecting the existing historical (and partially protected) external fabric.

The architectural approach involves swelling the internal spatial presence out to ‘balloon’ against the existing skin, and to add a new inner skin with insulation and services between.
